The National White Dove Release Society is a group of white dove release professionals dedicated to providing beautiful and meaningful releases to honor celebrations, memorials, and any display of love. The National White Dove Release Society is a professional organization whose members have exhibited proper animal husbandry, sound medical practices and humane business ethics as white dove handlers. National White Dove Release Society members use highly trained white homing pigeons (also known as Rock Doves) for releases, as they are the only type of "dove" that should ever be released into the wild. Again, the small doves sometimes sold have poor flying and homing skills, a release with these birds will feed nearby predators. Our organization is the best place on the Internet to find help and assistance for individuals preparing to open their own release business. We have ongoing discussions on our forum that cover all aspects of starting and maintaining a release business. Our members have 100's of combined years experience and are more than willing to share friendly advice.
