White doves are ancient symbols of love and devotion, partnership and
peace, fertility and hope for the future. Kings, Popes, and grooms-to-be
have released or presented white doves as symbols of their devotion and
their hopes for the future. A modern white dove release ceremony adds
atmosphere and inspiration appreciated by audiences of all ages at extra
special occasions.
Weddings culminate with the rush and whirl of wings as white doves lift
off carrying hopes and dreams skyward.
Valentine's Day releases are unique and memorable gift to your sweetheart.
A single white dove released as a memorial spirit bird will bring tears
to the eyes of everyone present as they watch the bird ascend skyward.
Then a joyous rush of white wings flashes as more birds are released to
escort the spirit bird home.
Many other occasions transcend the ordinary with an uplifting flight
from a white dove release. Moments like these etch forever in the minds
of your audience, creating memories that are cherished for a life-time.
Only a professional white dove release company can make these
extraordinary moments happen. Our professional handlers customize a
unique ceremony for you and your audience. We release only well trained
homing birds that are able to return to their home loft where they are
well tended.
Please Note: NWDRS members consider the release of Ringneck doves unethical and immoral. Ringneck doves, readily available from pet stores and bird merchants, are not strong fliers, have no homing ability, and have no life experiences that would help them survive if released to the wild. Instead we use the White Homing Pigeon, a close relative and member of the Dove Family.
The American Dove Association has an informative page on their website which
addresses the difference between the Ringneck Doves and the White Homing
Pigeons. If you would like to read more please click here:
